If you're a big fan of original date nights, or love sharing a drink over lots of laughter with friends and family, you may already be familiar with Helium Comedy Club on Mississippi Street in Buffalo's Cobblestone District. And if you're not... you should be. Where have you been...?

This past Friday, Helium held the Semifinals for Buffalo's Funniest Comedian, which was HILARIOUS. And guess what? If you're just hearing about this comedy club, a good time to check it out is tomorrow! The FINALS of Buffalo's Funniest Comedians is coming up on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.

If you plan to attend, know that Helium offers options for dinner and drinks before the show, and you can order during the show, as well! What can you expect from the comedians? Twisted jokes that are sick and will make you feel uncomfortable about how hard you laugh at them.

The semifinals consisted of 11 different comedians (from an original total of more than 80) each taking the stage, turn by turn, to get as many laughs out of the crowd as possible. Eight comedians will compete in the finals Wednesday at 8:00 pm.

Instead watching the Dave Chapelle Special on Netflix for the fifth time this year, get off the couch and check out some local comedians--and be prepared for some twisted Anthony Bourdain jokes (although I know, we Buffalonian foodies are all super sad about this particular tragic event).
