We continue our Fall Essentials checklist with some other key wardrobe pieces that will have you looking your best during fall and leading into winter. As always, we're looking at a wide range of price points so you are sure to find something to fit your budget.
The Leather Jacket - The leather jacket is quickly becoming one of the must-haves this season, with every brand seemingly offering this timeless jacket. While there are certainly faux cheaper versions available, this is one of those items where it definitely pays off to spend a little extra. Once properly broken, a good leather jacket literally lasts for years, while cheaper ones will quickly break down and be thrown away. While the traditional stiffer jackets are the norm, brands like All Saints have perfected the already worn in look, so your jacket will be buttery soft the day you buy it. H&M | Topman | All Saints
The Flannel Shirt - Few things are as perfect on a brisk fall day as a cozy brushed flannel shirt. With endless styles to choose from, whether solid, plaid, slim fit, traditional fit, vintage or new, everyone should have a favorite flannel shirt in their closet. Take care when washing these as they tend to shrink in the dryer resulting in the dreaded short sleeve look. But if you prefer your sleeves cuffed, you should have no problem. Turtleneck Sweaters - We've been a fan of the classic turtleneck for years, so naturally we're excited that brands are starting to offer the longer style turtleneck (get outta here with that mock turtleneck crap) in sweater form. Whether it be marino wool, cashmere or knit, this is another great wardrobe piece that can easily be dressed up or down. One of the better looks this season is the turtleneck paired with a blazer, or for the more daring, a leather biker jacket. H&M | Topman | J.Crew
