Ammunition. That's what I consider Don Burn's latest video - fodder for the unbelievers. The resurgence may not yet reach every corner of the Queen City, but its impact in the Elmwood Village cannot be disputed.
We Are Elmwood Village, Burn's new video, accurately portrays the Village as a charming, walkable neighborhood with a vibrant commercial district.
Commissioned by NYS Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, the cultural and tourism film highlights the village’s prime assets, many of which have been transformed and revitalized in recent years. The Lafayette Presbyterian Church is now a mixed use masterpiece; Inn Buffalo is an historic mansion on Lafayette which has been transformed into a unique, boutique hotel; and the massive Richardson Olmsted Complex is morphing from a decaying relic back into its original architectural majesty and will soon house an architctural museum, a welcome center and the Hotel Henry.
