Hey Monea's unique blend of classic-rock swagger, dead-on harmonies and blues-influenced guitar and piano instrumentation is instantly familiar yet refreshing at the same time and has kept them very busy playing venues, clubs, colleges, and cruises all over the country and the open ocean. The 4-piece from Canton, Ohio recently beat out 12,000 other bands worldwide to win the Hard Rock Rising Contest, which gave them the opportunity to open for Bruce Springsteen on the main stage at the Hard Rock Calling Festival in London this past July. Hey Monea's current single, "The Ballad of Moonbeam Swiner" from their most recent EP - Wine, Women and Song has been opening a lot of doors for the band and is making new fans for them daily. The band will be hard at work in the studio this fall recording their full-length CD debut with an early 2013 release scheduled.
