Downtown Buffalo Pub Walk
Begins at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery
Fri June 13 & recurring every Friday to Aug 29
Finally a tour that combines everything we love--Buffalo's history and beer! This pub walk starts with a pint at Brawler's Deli in the basement of the historic Pearl Street Grill (circa 1841). From there we meander through the streets of downtown where your guide (local history nerd, author and former stand-up comic) explores the off-beat heritage of Buffalo.
After trespassing through Niagara Square we head to the stunning Hotel Lafayette for another pint and more tall tales. The last leg of our journey takes us back to pearl Street where we reflect on a wonderful fun filled night and try to remember what we just learned. On this tour you will discover: -Jimmy Griffin’s secret astronomical laboratory -Who was Buffalo’s Donald Trump of the 1800′s -Why Niagara Square is a circle -Why Lafayette Square, which is a square, is called Lafayette Square $25 ticket includes tour, two pints of craft beer and some bad harmonica playing.

The career of Shelton Hank Williams III (aka Hank3) has doubled as a sort of crusade in which he breaks all the rules of country music while somehow managing to honor its traditions at the same time. As he put it back in '06, "Everybody calls themselves outlaws and all that stuff, but that's what's missing in country music. Everything's so clean and pretty and perfect, and you need a couple of people in there that aren't perfect and that don't sound the best. That's the way some of the best guys were, man." Since the third-generation rebel's most recent LP, 2010's aptly titled Rebel Within, he's gotten off Curb Records and launched his own label, the Megaforce-distributed Hank3 Records (the new moniker to distinguish/a representation of his post-Curb career).

TIM RICE and ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER's Tony Award®-winning musical returns at last!
