I am a freelance writer born and raised in Western NY. I have lived in various other locales but find myself back in good ole WNY. Travel is and always has been a huge part of my life. The big goal is to become location independent and write full time while traveling the world.

When I am not working I can usually be found in the kitchen or outside hanging with plants. I am a community herbalist, amateur botanist, forager, gardener, culinary experimenter and food preserver. The plant world harnesses such amazing power that I am confident I will work my whole life and only understand a small percentage of its offerings. We are lucky here in WNY as we have a wide range of both medicinal and edible plants that grow wild in this area. My goal is to spread the word about all of the amazing healing properties plants can provide.
