Dancing to Live is a spectacular Mixed Repertoire evening presented by Buffalo's own Neglia Ballet Artists. This unique event, featuring a cocktail reception with wine, beer, hors d'oeuvres by Current Catering, dessert and silent auction will celebrate  LIFE with the WORLD PREMIERE of Viktor Plotnikov's solo piece, commissioned specifically for Neglia Ballet! Proceeds of the event will benefit TargetCancer’s rare cancer research efforts and Neglia Ballet Artists CityDance Education Outreach Program.

Doors open at 6pm to enjoy wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres. At 7:30, what promises to be a memorable display of mixed performances from local and world renown dancers and choreographers will being. Afterwards guest will have the pleasure of meeting the dancers while enjoying the bar and beverages. 

Performance Highlights!
Back by popular demand is an encore performance of last years premiere piece, Viktor Plotnikov's contemporary pas de deux, From Earth, for Neglia and Vaccarelli. If you missed last year, be sure not to miss out this year- we promise you won't regret it! Sergio and Vaccarelli will also be performing the iconic second act pas de deux from "Swan Lake."

Yet another highlight of the performance will be two pas de deux performance by Festival Ballet of Providence dancers Vilia Putrius and Mindaugas Bauzys. One will be a contemporary piece, set to Moonlight Sonata choreographed by Ilya Kozadayev.

Viktor Plotnikov, former principal dancer with the Boston Ballet and acclaimed choreographer has created a solo contemporary piece for Neglia Ballet Pre-Professional student from Japan, Yuha Tomita.

Other mixed pieces are to include Ogulcan Borova, principal dancer with world-renowned Joffrey Ballet and Yumelia Garcia, a former principal dancer with Joffrey Ballet and Marybeth Hansohn who has frequently appeared in Neglia's productions as a principal dancer.  

Last year's performance was said to be one of the best mixed evenings in Neglia Ballet Artists 15 years...and this promises to be just as beautiful, if not more moving.
