The Mid-American Orchid Congress (MAOC) is holding its fall conference in Buffalo and at the Botanical Gardens. The MAOC is a network of orchid clubs dedicated to the preservation and propagation of orchids.  This show will host international speakers, orchid vendors from across the U.S. and spectacular judged orchid displays.  Orchid exhibits will be spread throughout the Botanical Gardens, and growers from the U.S. and Ecuador will speak about the culture and care of orchids on Saturday. 12:30-1:30pm - Bob Snyder, Botanical Gardens Volunteer and Historian will speak about the history of the Botanical Gardens

1:30-2:30pm - Inge Poot, American Orchid Society Emeritus Judge will speak about the orchid genus Stanhopea

2:30-3:30pm - Glen Decker will speak about the orchid genus Phragmipedium kovachii and its hybrids
