The 11th Annual Hamilton Film Festival 2016 (HFF) is a festival of feature-length movies, documentaries, and short films; industry and public events; the brand new Canadian Film Market; the first-ever Special Effects 72-Hour Film Challenge (HFX); as well as the Hamilton Film Expo 2: Expo Harder. Over nine days the Festival will screen 150 official movies, docs, and shorts, 47 of which were shot in Hamilton and 45 directed by women! Official festival venues include the Staircase Theatre, Zoetic Theatre, the Sheraton Hamilton Hotel and Digital Canaries Studios.
