Words of Wisdom from Onondaga: The family of the late Onondaga Clanmother Audrey Shenandoah will share teaching from their mother.  Audrey was a member of the Eel Clan and was not only a mother but a Clanmother to everyone in her Clan.  She was such a wonderful person and held the position of Secretary of the Iroquois Confederacy until she passed on.  Her daughter, now Eel Clanmother, Jeanne Shenandoah, and her  sons, Tracey Shenandoah and Robert “Bub” Shenandoah will share traditional teachings from their mother and the Onondaga Nation.  They will also talk about projects they are involved in throughout Haudenosaunee lands.  All three are actively involved in their community and work to help all people just like their mother

In partnership with the Buffalo Native Resource Center, Words of Wisdom from Onondaga: The family of the late Onondaga Clanmother Audrey Shenandoah. Reception to follow. FREE
