Join us Tuesdays at Tabernacle for Buffalo's only weekly poetry event, Resonant Insight Poetic Experience!

7:00pm - 8:00pm: Workshop
An informal sandbox environment where anyone may bring printed copies of a poem they wish to receive feedback on, or may read a poem for critiques on performance. Limited to one poem per person per week. No signups, just arrive prepared. If bringing written work, please print at least ten copies. Presenting work is not required, so come bring your ears and eyes to give feedback to others!

8:00pm - 9:00pm: Open Stage
Fifteen slots, three minutes each. First amendment rules apply, all content warnings reserved. No hate speech allowed. Sign-up will be available at the venue only, and must be done in-person (no proxies). Guests of Resonant Insight must be 21+ years of age unless accompanied by an adult. Open Stage is limited to ages 18+. Reading from cell phones is not permitted (except where it would cause extreme hardship).

9:00pm - 9:30pm: Poetry Theme Challenge
Each week, your guide will give guests a theme for the evening. Provided will be 3" x 5" index cards. During the event, guests are encouraged to pen a poem on the night's subject, no longer than the front and back of one card. Anyone who has completed a poem by the end of Open Stage is invited to read it for the audience. The audience will then vote for Best Poem and Best Performance. Winners receive a prize.

Resonant Insight will pass the hat for donations, please pay what you can. No one will be turned away.
