The WNY Chapter of the New York State Restaurant Association is proud to bring you the 13th Annual Taste of Education to benefit the ProStart Program! The ‘Taste of Education’ features students enrolled in the ProStart restaurant management and culinary arts programs at various WNY Schools. All proceeds from the event are used by the WNY Chapter of the New York State Restaurant Association to fund scholarships for local culinary students. Since the inception of the ‘Taste of Education’ event, over $75,000 in scholarships have been awarded to local students to continue their education in the hospitality field.

ProStart is a nationwide, two-year high school program that unites classroom and industry to develop the best and brightest talent into tomorrow's restaurant and foodservice leaders. ProStart is an excellent career starter for high school students, an excellent teaching opportunity for educators, a truly rewarding experience for ProStart Coordinators, a chance to share practical knowledge for mentors and a smart investment in the future for ProStart partners. 

Tickets to the ‘Taste of Education’ are $25 and can be purchased on Facebook or though Eventbrite.
