Celebrate Iroquois and Seneca Culture at the Buffalo Creek Native Festival on Saturday and Sunday, August 6th and 7th at the Erie Canal Harbor Central Wharf. Guests will experience Buffalo Creek in 1838 with the following events:

Opening Prayer and Translation: 10:00 a.m.
Theatrical Storytelling: 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Historical Reenactment: 12:00 noon
Dance Demonstrations: 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. (participation encouraged)
Craft Demonstrations: 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Traditional Games: 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Haudenosaunee Social (Saturday only): 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Festival will take place Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This free and open-to-the-public event is a alcohol and drug free. Native Crafts and food will be available for purchase. For more information contact Alex Jimerson at alex.jimerson@sni.org.
