This is a fundraiser for the Grand Island Farmers and GI not-for-profits! All money raised will go back into the community!

The festival will begin at 11am at Beaver Island State Park until 7pm.  Entry to park, parking and event are FREE.  

There will be a competition with local BBQ teams until 3pm.  You can join in and purchase a People's Choice judging card.  This card is $10 and allows you into the competition and to judge 8 teams and their pulled pork!  More than a pound of meat!  

Teams will also compete in the blind judging categories of Ribs, Pork Chops and Slaw.

From 11am-7pm the Beaver Island Grove will be offering Food Vendors, Craft Vendors, BBQ Vendors, Farmers Market, Bands, and a Beer Tent. 

Get ready to race your winning rubber turtle in the Lagoon!  2:30 pm.

The more entries, the more chances to win!  This is going to be a blast!  2,000 Turtles will be released into the Beaver Island Lagoon.  Your turtle will have its very own code on it that you will receive when you adopt your family of turtles.  Cash prizes! 

The opportunity to adopt your turtle is $5 and race.   You do not need to be present to win.

The proceeds from the turtle adoptions will support GI farms, Kiwanis of GI, GI Dog Park, and/or Unique Theater Group. Who will you support is chosen at time of adoption.
