Halloween Puppy Parade and Costume Contest on Main Street!

Bring your pups down to the 500 and 600 blocks of Main Street to strut their stuff for Halloween! Puppy parents and children are encouraged to dress up as well! 


Proceeds to benefit the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter. 


Dogs available for adoption through the City Shelter will be participating in the Parade!
Registration will begin at 12pm and go until 12:30pm at the WNY Book Arts Center, 468 Washington St, downtown. A suggested donation of $5 to participate or bring an item on the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter's Wish-List -> http://members.petfinder.com/~NY341/wish.html


Tickets for basket raffle will be available for purchase at registration and Fountain Plaza. 
The Parade will go up Main Street to the Market Arcade, 617 Main St., and stop along the way at participating shops who will be handing out handmade Halloween Biscuits made and donated by Buffalo Barkery! 
(paticipant will receive a tote to use for trick or treating while they last). On the way back, Fountain Plaza will be a Watering/Rest Station.

The Parade will end at Furnishings, 500 Main St, where Costume Contest Winners will be awarded prizes in the categories of:
Scariest - Most Creative - Most Adorable 
And while you're there, don't forget to capture the moment in the Harvest Photo Op station!

Tips and Reminders!
~All dogs MUST be on a leash.
~Please do NOT use retractable leashes 
~Please remember to clean up after your pup. Stations with bags are set up throughout Main St. for your convenience. 
~The water in the reflecting pool at Fountain Plaza should NOT be used to drink or swim in. We will have clean water for dogs to hydrate with.
~Costume contest winners and basket raffle winners will be announced at the end of the parade. You do not have to be present to win. 

**Be aware this event will have many different dogs of all ages and sizes. We ask that you use your better judgement with your dogs behavior and encourage only dogs that are spayed and neutered to attend. We reserve the right to ask any aggressive dogs to leave.
