Letter-Writing Night (Women's March: 10 Actions / 100 Days)
Monday 30th Jan, 2017
On January 21, millions of people marched, spoke, and made our voices heard. But it doesn’t end here. Every 10 days, WomensMarch.com will suggest a specific action.
THE FIRST ACTION
Write a postcard to your elected officials about what matters most to you—and how you’re going to continue to fight for it in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Write to the local media, telling them what you want to see covered and encouraging them to bring us the truth. Write to politiicians who are doing a great job—or local activist groups that could use some words of love and support.
WHAT TO DO
You can go it alone (please share photos, sample letters, ideas for letter recipients!), or join us at this event to mingle, drink coffee, and share stories as we write. We'll have some cards and stationery to share, but we encourage you to bring your own supplies if possible. letter-Writing Night (Women's March: 10 Actions / 100 Days)
