Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade & Flag Raising
Saturday 19th Aug, 2017
This year's theme is UNIDOS SIEMPRE! With all that is going on in today's world, this is a very fitting theme. We as a community continue to stand strong together, regardless of our race, color, heritage, etc., we celebrate everyone. We have grown tremendously through the years and we continue to encourage our community to always feel pride in raising our flags, sharing in our cultural costumes, music and food when participating in this wonderful celebration of Hispanic Heritage.
Last year there were more than 2,000 participants representing more than 70 organizations from the Western New York area. We look forward to this year’s events with great excitement as more groups participate and celebrate.
Mark your calendar and come celebrate the 15th Annual Puerto Rican and Hispanic Day Parade of WNY, Saturday, August 19th, 2017. The Flag will be raised at Noon, and the Parade starts at 1:00pm in front of Buffalo City Hall and will march north on Niagara Street (Avenida San Juan).
There will be great food and a free concert immediately following at LaSalle Park, on Buffalo’s beautiful waterfront.
