Taking It to the Streets brings the fun and excitement to the people. Each year's event is jam packed with live performance artists, food and merchandise vendors, resource information and linkage, community heroes, kids-centered activities, and more. Taking It to the Streets is proud to boast a safe,  family-friendly, and anti-violence atmosphere. The Taking It to the Streets event planning committee is always looking to hear from additional artists, vendors, and organizers to help make the coming event a success. The 29th annual Taking It to the Streets International Crusade Rally and Festival takes place Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th, 2017 in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Park at the corners of Fillmore Avenue and Best Street.
