Tour de Farms

GObike Buffalo and the Massachusetts Avenue Project are thrilled to host the 8th annual Tour de Farms, sponsored by Independent Health and The Buffalo News. Tour de Farms is a bicycle tour of local urban and rural farms highlighting and celebrating sustainable transportation and our connection to the local food system.

This year's ride includes two parts: The Classic Tour, which is approximately 35 miles where bicyclists will travel from Buffalo's West Side visiting urban farm and community gardens, stop at Bipperts Farm and end at the Oles Family Farm in Alden, NY. Afterward is a Local Food Celebration for riders, their families and friends and anyone else in the Western New York community to join. For the first time ever we're adding an Urban Farms Tour that starts and ends in the city, visiting more urban farms and gardens and ending with an after-party at Community Beer Works.
