Winter Wonderland in the Woods

Winter may seem like a time to hibernate, but there’s a lot going on under the snow. The theme of this year's family-friendly celebration of Winter by DEC and Friends of Reinstein Woods is UNDERCOVER WILDLIFE.
There will be live animals, door prizes, costumed characters, exhibits and lots to do:
Go on a winter scavenger hunt
Try snowshoes or cross-country skis in the try-out area
Express your creativity in the snow art area
Explore outdoor Snow Stations to discover how snow helps the wildlife active below
Test your snowball throwing skills
Enjoy ice fishing demonstrations

The event happens regardless of snow conditions, and additional activities like the Winter Wildlife Olympics will be added in the event of warm weather. No registration required.
