Higher education can mean different things to different people, but Jennafer Lynsey has taken the concept to new levels. As her classmates packed their bags and prepared for college, Lynsey packed her guitar and moved to Nashville. Why Nashville? “Music is my life and I wanted to go where I could learn as much about music as possible. Nashville is a major music center and has the greatest collection of songwriting talent in the world.”

Jennafer has been writing songs since the age of 12 and began playing the Buffalo music scene four years later. She has played the Music on Main venues, the Clarence Hollowfest, and on the main stage at the Music is Art Festival. She has also opened for Aaron Carter and Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees).

In the spring of 2015, Lynsey began working with former Sony Music executive Mike Kraski to learn what it takes to be a performing and recording artist. “There’s a lot more to being a true music artist than most of the world understands. There is no question that she has natural talent. I’ve simply put her on an accelerated path to her realizing her full potential.”

Jennafer has already worked with highly credentialed and award winning songwriters, producers, musicians and performance coaches. Now she is bringing what she has learned back to Buffalo for a pair of shows between Christmas and the New Year. Lynsey and her band will be performing at Buffalo Ironworks on December 26th and the Channel 7 Ball Drop on New Year’s Eve.

Lynsey couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming shows. “I can’t wait to share my new music with my Buffalo friends and fans. Nashville has been a great experience, but Dorothy was right…there’s no place like home”
