WBFO Buffalo Blues Bash
Saturday 3rd Oct, 2015
The opening act is Buffalo's own Jack Civiletto, followed by Noah Wotherspoon Band, a finalist at the 2015 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. Wotherspoon was the recipient of the Best Guitarist Award at the International Blues Challenge, and the band took second place in the finals of the competition. They recently released a new studio album entitled "Mystic Mud." Jack Civiletto is a veteran songwriter and performer. In 2003 he released a vocal-jazz album, "Moonlight and Lavender," and his current release, "Heading Westward," blends several musical styles, including pop, rock, country and gospel.
WNED | WBFO continues their commitment to the blues, bringing top performing acts, as well as local talent, to the event. Previous Buffalo Blues Bash headliners include Ghost Town Blues Band, Billy the Kid and the Regulators and the Selwyn Birchwood Band. The Patti Parks Band, Tommy Z Band and Dive House Union have opened for the past events.
Tickets are $18 for WNED | WBFO members and $20 for advanced purchase. If the event is not already sold out, tickets can be purchased at the door for $25. Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Order your tickets online or call 1-800-678-1873.
