Buffalo's own Jason Vieaux will perform as soloist in Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto in D and Rodrigo's Fantasy for a Gentleman. Hailed by the New York Times as “one of the ‘youngest stars of the guitar world’,” Mr. Vieaux was recently appointed by the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia to establish a guitar program at the esteemed conservatory.

Piotr Gajewski, founder, artistic director and conductor of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Washington, D.C., conducts the program, which focuses on the Baroque with Handel’s Overture to Samson and Suite #2 from “Water Music” and J.S. Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3.
