Jams and Jellies Class

Remember when you were young and your grandmother or mom just finished a batch of jam. You would grab a slice of bread and pile the fresh made jelly on to it. Yum.... It was so good. Wouldn't you like to have that again or have your kids experience the same natural sweetness? Well now you can. Join us for an evening and learn the how to make that fresh jam or jelly with our local expert, Sue Popielinski. Sue attended Buffalo State College and earned her degree in Home Economics, while also majoring in Nutrition, Family Life and Child Development. For over 25 years, Sue has been involved in educating others and sharing her experiences canning and preserving fresh foods. EMPact NY will purchase all necessary supplies. Each attendee will receive a canning guide book.
