Nearly three dozen juried artisans from near and far will come together from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3 for the 41st annual Roycroft Winter Festival! This highly anticipated Western New York holiday tradition will take place in East Aurora Middle School, located at 430 Main St. in the village.

The juried artisans, including several Roycroft Artisans and Master Artisans, will offer a wide variety of beautifully handcrafted items. Artisans taking part in the event offer everything from jewelry, wood, clay and books to metal, tile, glass, leather, pottery, sculpture and more.

Among the local artists taking part in the event will be paper artist and East Aurora resident Suzanne Handel Mair. A Roycroft Master Artisan since 1986, her story will also be featured in the Roycrofters-At-Large newsletter, which will be available free of charge at the Winter Festival.

The famous Roycroft “Goodie Box” will also be unveiled at the Winter Festival. Crafted by Roycroft Artisan and Alabama native Robert Taylor, the metal box will be filled with handcrafted works of art from Roycroft Artisans and awarded by raffle at the Roycrofters-At-Large Association’s annual Summer Festival in June. Raffle tickets will be available during the Winter Festival and make great stocking stuffers!

Food and holiday music will also be plentiful during the Winter Festival. Admission is just $1, which helps fund future Roycrofters-At-Large Association initiatives.
