Pegula-ville Alive and Well!
Terry Pegula and his wife Kim have been informed that their bid has tentatively been accepted by Mary Wilson and the current ownership group.The next step for the Pegulas would require approval from members of the NFL Finance Committee, which meets next week, and then a final vote by the rest of the NFL owners at the next owners meeting, which is October 8th.
There is no reason to speculate on how the Pegulas will handle management/coaching decisions at this point. This isn’t the same situation as when he bought the Sabres, and the new stadium talk can be shelved for the time being as there is no threat that the owner will move them.
Most of all, what this means is the Bills are staying in Buffalo for the next generation of fans, and the city has more good karma today than maybe ever!! Watch out on Sunday, Dolphins.
