Black Kirby, “Night Boy”

Stacey Robinson and John Jennings of Black Kirby will present a new collaborative project, “Night Boy”, a graphic novel that tells the story of a 15 year old victim of police brutality who becomes a pawn in a supernatural power struggle, and a guardian of the City of Light. Jennings and Robinson will work with students to create original artwork inspired by Afrofuturism, social justice, representation, and fantasy.

This exhibition will be on view from July 26-September 7, 2019.
