This 90-minute bus tour shows the waterfront as the epicenter for the city’s ongoing renaissance, visiting Canalside, the Outer Harbor, and the mighty grain elevators along the Buffalo River. See how Buffalo is returning to its waterfront roots, with a revitalized waterfront being reclaimed for the entire community with new parks, trails, and public art.
The tour will also travel through South Buffalo, visiting the Olmsted-designed Cazenovia and South Parks and passing the Botanical Gardens and Our Lady of Victory Basilica. Throughout the tour, you’ll see many of the new developments throughout the southern part of the city, including the massive SolarCity solar panel factory and the revitalized Larkin District.

Meeting Location
The tour meets at the Visit Buffalo Niagara Visitor Center at the corner of Washington and Clinton Streets on Lafayette Square.
Parking: The nearest public parking ramp is the Adam Ramp, one block away from the Visitor Center at Washington & Eagle Streets. On weekends, on-street parking is free in downtown Buffalo; private parking lots still require payment.
