Celebrate the 850 Year History of NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL
Tuesday 28th May, 2019
The world was riveted, shocked and saddened by the fire that roared through Notre Dame Cathedral on April 15th of this year. Yet this is only the latest event in the long, rich, and complicated history of Notre Dame. From master presenter and storyteller Bob Poczik comes a story for the ages. It is a story of veneration, desecration, neglect, decline and renewal. It is a story in which popes and kings, revolutionaries, a novelist, an emperor and a dictator all play key roles. It is far more than the story of a building; it is the story of the meaning and values, the hopes and dreams that this building represents to the people of France and the world.
Please join us as we go back in time and enter into story of Notre Dame Cathedral as told in the rich images and music of the Middle Ages on Tuesday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 8500 Main Street in Clarence, NY.
