The 35th annual celebration of the opening
of the Buffalo Theatre Season
presented by
Theatre District Association of Western New York
and M&T Bank. Each year, Curtain Up! is held in Buffalo’s Historic Theatre District
and is theatrically designed in three acts.

Act I
Start the evening with cocktails and dinner at any of
the Theatre District’s fine restaurants
or
Join celebrities of Buffalo’s theatre community
on the majestic main stage of Shea’s Performing Arts Center
for a creative black-tie Gala Dinner.
A cash bar cocktail party begins at 5:30 PM.
Dinner is served at 6:15 PM.

Act II
After dinner, catch a show at one of
our outstanding professional theatres:
(Curtains rise promptly at 8:00 PM.
Please make reservations early.)

Act III
When the curtains fall, the Theatre District street party goes into full gear
featuring live music, dancing, street performers and surprises!
It continues until 1 AM
