Edward McClelland at Talking Leaves

Talking Leaves is pleased to announce that Edward McClelland will be appearing on Friday, 7/21/17, at 7 pm at our store at 951 Elmwood Avenue to discuss and sign copies of his recently published How to Speak Midwestern (Belt Publishing).  The book is a look into and analysis of the unique speech and language patterns of the American Midwest.  Buffalo, balanced between East and Midwest, is not without impact in the development of Midwestern ways of speaking.  This event is free and open to the public; copies of the book will be available for purchase. Anyone wishing to have a copy signed is expected to purchase the book from Talking Leaves, as an act of respect and support for the author, the publisher, and the store hosting the event.
