464 Gallery is pleased to present FADED STARS, BATTERED STRIPES, an exhibition of paintings, photographs, and charcoal drawing by artist Sam Sacco. The opening reception of FADED STARS, BATTERED STRIPES will be held at 464 Galleries on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 6-11 pm. The exhibit will be on display through November 16, 2011 and is free and open to the public.

Inspired and motivated by his military service, Sam Sacco's first series features images of pride, patriotism, anguish and pain. Sam, an Afghanistan war veteran, brings the raw emotions of combat deployments, and the harsh reality some veterans face upon returning home, to the forefront.
