Fruit on Blue, Lydia Kegler At WNY Book Arts

The Western New York Book Arts Center presents an exhibition in the Main Gallery by artist Lydia Kegler, on view April 19th - May 3rd. A closing reception will be held Friday, May 3rd, 2024 from 5-8 p.m.

In the Main Gallery, Lydia Kegler’s exhibition, Fruit on Blue, explores the aesthetics of pleasure. The oil paintings and drawings that comprise this body of work consider the symbolic, ephemeral, and emotive value of both fruit and color. Fruit on Blue is the conclusion of Kegler’s Master of Fine Art degree at the University at Buffalo.
