Galen Cheney, Solo Exhibition

Galen Cheney (North Adams, Massachusetts) studied at Mount Holyoke College and earned her MFA at the Maryland Institute, College of Art. Combining the intuitive methods of Abstract Expressionism with an eye toward contemporary collage, textile art, and graffiti, Cheney’s richly layered, constructed paintings are fresh and current.
