Infinitely Complex

See Infinitely Complex installations, short films and mixed media pieces relating to mental illnesses, alcoholism and other addictions at the Opening Reception for the new exhibit by Rick Williams at Casa de Arte. Works include short films entitled "Delirium Tremens" and "Death of an Addict"; an exact replica of a brain submerged in a fish tank full of beer; and broken mirror pieces relating to bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia and personality disorders.
Additional Receptions will be held on Friday, August 14th, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm and on Sunday, August 16th, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The exhibit runs through August 18th.
Casa de Arte is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 to 3:00 pm; Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00 to 9 pm; Friday, 6 to 10 pm; and practically anytime by appointment (716 227-0271).
All events at Casa de arte are free; as is parking behind the gallery on evenings and weekends.
