Opening Reception of Numero | IXpress with Aspire of WNY

We invite you to join us for the Opening Reception of Numero / IExpress a collection of works created by the artists of Aspire WNY. The event will take place on Wednesday, 10 April 2019 from 6-9pm at Maison Le Caer, 1416 Hertel Ave, Buffalo, NY with refreshments and desserts by Camille. Don't forget to check out the exhibition's extension at our downtown location in the Market Arcade, 617 Main Street, Buffalo, which opens the same day (hours 7-3pm).

This series of original artworks explores each artist’s relationship with the symbol of number and the concept of numeration. Each of some twenty contributing artists holds a special and sometimes inexplicable affiliation with a particular number or series of numbers which are either blatantly apparent in some works, or cleverly and playfully veiled to near obscurity in others. All of the participating artists create their works at one of the many iXpress fine art studios at Aspire of Western New York, a non-profit agency whose mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
