WNY artist Scott Bye will fill Buffalo Arts Studio’s Joanna Angie gallery with his large-scale, sculptural installation. Bye selects mundane objects and re-sets them into multiple paths by connecting the objects together in dynamic ways. Through repetition and invention, Bye re-imagines the mundane materials that were once a part of our lives, transforming them into a narrative that lead viewers along past paths while creating and constructing new ones. Bye’s work incorporates found materials into creative fabrication of unlikely structures produced from everyday objects.

Scott Bye is an artist based in Bualo, NY. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture from SUNY Fredonia in 2006. He work has been shown at Big Orbit, BAS, and Eleven Twenty Projects. His work can also be found in museums, galleries, homes, schools across New York State, the city of Buffalo, the Greater Western New York region and Pittsburgh PA.
