Roycroft Campus - Chur Gallery Art Opening: Bob Maurer, Watercolor Artist

A resident of Canton, Ohio, Bob Maurer has been enjoying the spontaneity and freshness of painting with watercolors since 1972. Bob is interested in capturing a subtle mood in his paintings, just as the California tonalists did in the early twentieth century. He makes note that the actual objects in each scene often act as more of a backdrop for the atmospheric effects of his pieces.
An opening reception will be held for this exhibit as part of the East Aurora Art Walk on April 28th from 4 - 9 pm. The exhibit will remain on display through June 30th, open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
