Silo City Reading Series

Bianca Stone will close out this summer's Silo City Reading Series as featured poet on Saturday, August 29th. Emily Anderson will also read, Julie Byrne will perform and be joined by NP, a Buffalo intermedia artist. The final event in this multidisciplinary summer series which includes poetry, music, and visual art installations will take place in Silo City’s Marine A. All readings are FREE and open to the public.

Bianca Stone is the author of poetry collection Someone Else’s Wedding Vows; Antigonick (a hybrid collaboration with Anne Carson); and the forthcoming Selected Poetry Comics of Bianca Stone. She is co-founder and editor of Monk Books, and she runs the Ruth Stone Foundation in Vermont and Brooklyn.

*Poetry*
Emily Anderson writes poetry and fiction. Her first book, Little: Novels is forthcoming from Blaze Vox Books. Her work has appeared recently in Harper's, Conjunctions, and Fence. Work from an ongoing collaboration with photo-video based artist Jen Morris has been screened in Vermont, Philadelphia, and Spain. She holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is currently a PhD Candidate in English at SUNY-Buffalo. *Art Installation*
NP is an intermedia artist from Buffalo, NY who creates immersive, synesthetic experiences. He has recently produced an audio installation in collaboration with Flatsitter for the Max Collins and David Mitchell exhibition LAST EXIT at Hi-Temp Fab, co-produced music events with electronic musician Ay Fast under the moniker FOUNDRY, collaborated on site-specific performances for Torn Space Theater, and produced live visuals for the band Johns.
