STRUTT Wearable Art Weekend 2012
Friday 2nd Nov, 2012 → Saturday 3rd Nov, 2012
NAC’s STRUTT Wearable Art Weekend, Canada’s largest wearable art show, is bigger, weirder, bolder and more
spectacular than ever before. STRUTT is revved up to charge down the catwalk for its 13 th year and is a weekend-long
extravaganza of art, music and performance. The STRUTT Runway Show will feature over 50 unique wearable artworks
created by artists from Windsor, Toronto, Niagara, and from as far away as Sault Ste. Marie.
STRUTT is a surreal party scene where the absurd is commonplace. In addition to the art on the runway, there are
a variety of other spectacles at the STRUTT Runway Show and at the Launch Party on November 2 to keep you
entertained. The event features art installations, the Queen City and Niagara Roller Girls, Hercini Arts Collective aerial
dancers, Box Warriors, hip-hop artists, bicycle trick-riders, and Old World Vulture playing alongside members of the
Niagara Symphony Orchestra. Visit www.struttwearableartshow.ca for more details.
Tickets start at $35 per person and tables start at $400 (all ticket prices exclusive of taxes and gratuities). Overnight
packages are also available. For ticket purchasing information, visit www.struttwearableartshow.ca or call 905.688.5550
ext. 3257.
