The Roycroft Campus presents: Wunderkammer
Friday 15th Sep, 2017
A Wunderkammer, or ‘Cabinet of Curiosities,’ began in 16th century Europe as repositories of the natural wonders of the world. Actual specimens could be difficult to obtain, so an engraving or etching of a specimen was as good as the physical object, for it provided proof of its existence.
Artist, Elizabeth Andrews, will exhibit her own Cabinet of Curiosities, along with her handmade etchings and other unique treasures.
Exhibit will be held in The Neil and Barbara Chur Family Gallery located in the Roycroft Power House. For further information, call 716-655-0261
