An elegant evening of fun, fine wine and gourmet cuisine featuring exquisite wine and gourmet cuisine. Brian Moorman's Punt Foundation's 9th Annual Wine Pairing at Asbury Hall in downtown Buffalo. Gather a group of friends or colleagues and "Go Gold" for pediatric cancer awareness month to raise money for six programs that help local families. The event features a beer and spirit tasting, and a 6 course dinner, each course paired with a wine. An apple & walnut salad is followed by fried goat cheese with a fresh mint peach compote over arugula. Sautéed Sea Bass is paired with Uppercut Cabernet Sauvignon, sliced rubbed beef tenderloin topped with shitake mushrooms is paired with Chalone Gavilan Pinot Noir, and seared duck breast with a cherries port sauce is paired with Paso Robles Zinfandel. This feast is crowned by two dark chocolate Lindor truffles with Grand Marnier-infused whipped cream. Wow!

P.U.N.T. has paid for rent, auto payments, a furnace, funerals, airfare, and tax bills, and have granted final wishes and provided precious family memories for kids that have not made it and those still fighting. It adopted 17 local families in treatment for the holidays, distributed thousands of dollars in gas and grocery cards, hospital and cafeteria vouchers, and given kids in active treatment and their families the exhilarating experience of attending a Buffalo Bills home game in the safety of our private suite.

This event is the organization’s major source of revenue and the auction is a critical factor in the success of the event.
