10th Annual Walk Off Hunger

The Food Bank of WNY is thrilled to announce its 10th Annual Walk Off Hunger and Summerfest will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Island Park in Williamsville! This fun, family-friendly event will once again be presented by Life Storage.

Walk Off Hunger is a two-mile scenic walk through the Village of Williamsville.  The walk is followed up with a festival full of children’s activities, musical entertainment, bounce houses, raffles, food and refreshments.  Last year, Walk Off Hunger and Summerfest drew more than 650 attendees.

All proceeds from Walk Off Hunger will benefit the Food Bank of WNY as it continues to procure and distribute nutritious food to as many as 135,000 individuals in any given month through our 341 member agencies in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties.   Every $1 raised helps the Food Bank of WNY provide 6 meals for our neighbors in need.  Since its inception, Walk Off Hunger has helped provide nearly 2.9 million meals to hungry families, seniors and children in our community!
