Buffalo Winterfest and Powderkeg Festival 2012
During the weekend of February 11th - 12th, Downtown Buffalo will again be transformed into a festive winter celebration continuing an exciting annual tradition. It’s the stuff inter dreams, for adults and kids alike, are made of including friends and family enjoying hot food and refreshments while strolling along downtown streets; winter carnival classics including ice skating, broom ball, snowshoeing, and carriage rides.
Festival activities will take place in Niagara Square and Statler City in downtown Buffalo. Many of the Kids Pavilion will take place in Statler City at 107 Delaware Ave. The sports activities will take place in Niagara Square.
The festival is free and open to the public, welcoming families and groups of all sizes. Some activities do require purchase or pre-registration.
