3297 Walden Avenue Depew, New York 14043Acupuncture is a recognized form of alternative therapy for breast cancer patients and has been shown to help relieve fatigue, hot flashes, nausea, vomiting, and pain. The most thorough study of acupuncture in breast cancer patients was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in 2000 and acupuncture is cited by organizations such as the Cleveland Clinic, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, American Cancer Society, and Roswell Park, as being an effective source of pain relief and comfort for breast cancer survivors.
Dr. Robert Grobelny or “Dr. Rob” is a native of Buffalo, New York. While a child he moved to Indiana, later returning as a teen to graduate from Bishop Timon High School. He received an Associate degree in Applied Science from Villa Maria College and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Excelsior University. In December of 2001 he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the New York School of Chiropractic and has been in private practice since 2002.
Doctor Grobelny also holds a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture from the New York Chiropractic College School of Oriental Medicine. In 2007 he had the opportunity to travel to China. While there he took part in rounds at the teaching hospital in the city of Hang Zhou, China. He is one of only two doctors licensed in Erie county in both chiropractic and acupuncture.
