CALLING ALL STUDENTS GRADES 7-12!!! Enjoy Step Show, Workshops, Food and More.... The purpose of this event is to expose students In grades 7- 12 in the City of Buffalo and surrounding areas to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the experiences that occur there and ways to access them if desired. Students will hear from WBLK's Yasmin Young as she MC's the step show and also share her experiences at Florida A & M University (an HBCU). We will also have HBCU alumni available to speak to students about their experiences attending HBCUs, as well as other local college options. Lastly, students will be given the opportunity to voice their thoughts about what is most important to them and through guided conversations we will help students create solutions to the obstacles they have identified. .
