Hey Buffalo!  Come out and raise your glass for a cause! The Big Big Table, Inc. is hosting the Big Big Beer Bash, a fundraising kickoff party at Resurgence. Help launch Big Big Table, a pay-as-you-can community café.

Just $25 per ticket, includes two drink vouchers and light fare (purchase in advance at http://bigbigtable.brownpapertickets.com/ or at the door.

Proceeds will support the 2017 launch of Big Big Table, WNY’s first Community Café.  Big Big Table will be a pay-as-you can lunchtime restaurant, focused on addressing hunger and building community.  Big Big Table is a dignified response to basic human needs.  Our mantra is: “Everybody eats. Everybody gives. Everybody matters.”  Big Big Table is a member of One World Everybody Eats, a national network of organizations utilizing this Community Café model.  At its core, the Community Café is a place where everyone is given a chance to earn what they need by giving as they can.  The number one goal of Big Big Table is to feed everyone who walks through the door.  Big Big Table will also help to reduce the stigma of need, promote healthy and local eating, build community in this diverse city, and provide workforce development through volunteer opportunities.

Led by founder and chef Mandy Bailey, this nonprofit start-up has incorporated and has a Board in place.  Big Big Beer Bash is a part of the Board’s multifaceted fundraising approach to raise $55,000 in start-up capital.  In addition to financial support, Big Big Table will be looking for in-kind donations, ingredients, and many kinds of volunteers in the coming months.
