The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce will host a Unyts Blood Drive & Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, in the West Seneca Community Center & Library, 1300 Union Road. The event is sponsored by the Chamber and the West Seneca Sun.

Blood donations will be accepted in the Recreation Department’s gym within the Community Center. To schedule a whole blood or double red cells donation, please visit https://www.unytsblooddonor.org/index.cfm?group=op&step=2&opid=15468.

“I’ve been donating blood for over 30 years, and I can’t think of a better and easier way to give back to those in need within our own community,” said Joe Kirchmyer, executive director of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce. “I hope the entire community will support our event and help us exceed our donor goal.”

In addition to the blood drive, several Chamber members representing health-related businesses and organizations will host informational tables in the Community Center’s main corridor. Participating vendors will be announced at a later date on the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce website (westseneca.org) and Facebook page.
