Buffalo Heritage Press is launching its latest children's book Buffalo From A to Z, Come Take a Tour With Me at Parkside Candies on Main Street and Winspear Avenue on Sunday, November 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.—with special guest, Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls! 

The main character of the book, Bob Uffalo, a spunky little buffalo with a smart phone, takes kids on a tour of nearly 70 fun Queen City destinations—from the Albright Knox to the Buffalo Zoo—taking selfies and posting on Instagram all the while. 

At the Goo Goo Dolls’ 20th anniversary show of Dizzy Up the Girl at Shea’s Performing Arts Center on October 19, 20 and 21, Buffalo Heritage Press sold copies of Buffalo From A to Z, Come Take a Tour With Me autographed by Robby Takac and Johnny Rzeznik as a fundraiser for Music is Art. 

Takac is scheduled to be at Parkside Candies at Noon on Sunday, November 25 to receive the resulting donation check on behalf of Music Is Art.

Authors Kristin Madej-Warham and Brigette Atlas-Callahan, as well as illustrator Bill Jankowski, will be signing books for your favorite BuffaKids from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. And Bob Uffalo will be there signing books too! 

At 1:00 p.m., Buffalo Heritage Press and the authors will recognize the more than two dozen local photographers who donated their photographs of iconic local attractions for use in the book. 

There will also be a children's activity table featuring a Bob Uffalo coloring activities, and Parkside Candies will be open with plenty of sweet treats for purchase. So be sure to bring a few kids along with you to this family-friendly event.
