JDRF Western New York Chapter will be hosting the Buffalo JDRF One Walk at Delaware Park & the Buffalo Zoo where the goal is to raise $760,000 for type 1 diabetes research. The JDRF One Walk is a family friendly fun filled event attended by over 3,200 supporters. Participants walk Delaware Park and celebrate their fundraising success towards a cure for diabetes. JDRF is the largest non-profit funder of type 1 diabetes (T1D) research in the world. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly.
